Remembering Thomas Merton

Run by the Thomas Merton Society of Canada, this event will celebrate the life of celebrated poet-monk Thomas Merton. Merton (1914-1968) was a prolific author, penning more than 60 books and hundreds of poems and articles on topics ranging from monastic spirituality to civil rights, nonviolence, and the nuclear arms race.
Join us to celebrate Merton’s birthday with music by Quintessential Jazz, poetry, a guest speaker and refreshments. Free — all are welcome!
