Our minister, Marianna, has been leading St. Andrew’s since 2002. Bringing up her children as a single parent while studying or working full time means that she has developed the ability to focus on what is important at this moment in time. Becoming a grandmother is a new experience in spirituality. Spiritual practices which keep her balanced include centering prayer, yoga and gardening. Travelling is a passion as new places provoke questions and bring new insights.
Born in Vancouver, with a mother born in North Vancouver, she was surprised to discover that she had actually been baptized in St. Andrew’s, the church where her mother had grown up.
The big brown church on the corner has lots going on. Inside you'll find warmth, tradition and new approaches to spirituality.
We are happy to welcome newcomers, delighted with each
baby or child that comes through our doors.
It is a joy to see them grow and learn about God’s love.
At one time our church sign said,
“If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.” You'll find joyful music, a great choir, new approaches to spirituality.
Come and see.
