All are welcome!

St. Andrew’s United Church is an open and affirming congregation where people are welcome regardless of race, class, economic background, or sexual orientation. We invite you to explore the host of programs and experiences we offer. Faith formation encompasses a considerable breadth of possibility. Are you spiritual but not religious? Then come to our spiritual practice workshops, weekly mindfulness-meditation, or one of our alternative services on Sundays at 4 pm. Are you looking for community? Ours is inclusive and welcoming—and there are many ways to become involved. Are you concerned about issues such as climate justice, homelessness, child poverty, the environment, and food sustainability? So are we! Come and find out what we’re doing as a community of faith to create a better community and a better world. Are you wondering what Christianity is all about? Explore the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition at Sunday morning worship, at weekly Bible study, or at special programs offered throughout the year. Do you have young children whose faith you want to nourish? Our Children & Family program includes Sunday morning children’s church as well as monthly Messy Church. Come see what’s happening at St. Andrew’s — and join our community.

Who are we?

Our History

ornament1 Exemplifying early 20th century architecture, our Gothic Revival style church brings to mind a bygone North Vancouver era, even as it stands firmly rooted in the present and looks towards a thriving future.

What We Do

ornament1 St. Andrew’s provides an environment for shared faith and worship as it serves its community through home-grown food, shared meals, and popular events.

We are not alone,
       we live in God's world.

We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
       who has come in Jesus,
               the Word made flesh,
               to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others
               by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:
       to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
       to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
                our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death,
       God is with us.
We are not alone.
       Thanks be to God.
